…Laura Tuttle, and my journey into the pet care world has been both rewarding and full of unexpected twists. It all started with a simple love for animals, and over the years, that passion has grown into a fulfilling career where I get to make a positive impact on the lives of pets and their owners.
From Client to Groomer
Like many, my story began as a pet parent. I was just like any other owner, eager to find the best care for my pets. But over time, I became fascinated by the grooming process and how it could improve both the health and well-being of animals. After seeing how important grooming was for my own pets, I decided to dive deeper into the world of pet care.
I took the leap and became a professional pet groomer. The transformation I saw in pets after a good grooming session—both in their physical appearance and their overall happiness—was inspiring. I loved being able to make animals feel comfortable, pampered, and healthy, and it quickly became a passion of mine.
Stepping Up to GM
My journey didn’t stop at grooming. Over time, I expanded my horizons and became the General Manager (GM) of a reputable pet care facility. This role allowed me to combine my love for animals with my organizational skills, helping me oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensure top-notch care, and create a safe, welcoming environment for pets and their families.
As GM, I focused on optimizing the quality of service, developing team members, and always keeping pets’ well-being at the forefront of everything we did. It was an exciting and fulfilling responsibility that reinforced my commitment to high-quality, compassionate care.
CPR Training Certification
In my constant pursuit to enhance my skills and ensure the safety of the pets under my care, I decided to earn my CPR Training Certification. Pet health emergencies can happen at any time, and being prepared to respond quickly and effectively can make all the difference. My certification has given me the knowledge and confidence to handle those situations with care and precision, ensuring every pet I work with is in safe hands. I’m also passionate about getting first aid kits into every pet home and making pet first aid and CPR training accessible to as many people as possible—because preparedness can save lives.
I’m passionate about continuing to grow and learn in the pet care industry. Whether it’s through grooming, management, or safety training, my mission remains the same: providing the best care possible for every pet that comes my way.
